Widespread Bloodshed is mainly a "studio-project" Rodrigo stared with his long-time-friend Johan, togehter with whom he actually started playing music back in the very beginning, and Esse, his old neighbor and friend, who also played together with Rodrigo in Sewn Shut.
All songs are written and recorded in the studio whenever they manage to find the time to meet up.
Widespread Bloodshed wer, are and will always be:
Rodrigo - Drums & Vocals
Esse - Bass
Johan - Guitars
This is a CDR we made compiling all that we had recorded at the time of our North American West Coast Tour (2005).
The tour was out first and only live shows ever. It was executed alongside with our friends in Brody's Militia & Voetsek.
We were supposed to hit Vancouver, Canada, as well, but as we suspected not getting across the border, we (WsBs), decided to stay in Seattle hanging out drinking with some local freaks. And as we suspected, Voetsek & Brody's came back the day after after being denied crossing into Canada.
At least we made it back and forth into Tijuana, Mexico, but that night is a story of it's own....
The tour was done with the following line up.
Rodrigo - Vocals
Esse - Guitar
Pege (Rajoitus) - Bass
Magnus (Ulcerhoea/Netjajev SS) - Drums
Anyhow, the CD compiles the following material.
Track 1-2 From the 3-way split 6" w/Voetsek & Brody's Militia (2005)
Track 3-4 From a compilation released by Doug of Brody's Militia
Track 5-29 From the split w/ Brody's Militia (2003)
Track 30-45 From the Self-Titled 7"EP (2003)
Track 46-49 From a compilation released by Otto of Needful Things
The members appear under various aliases...
Rodrigo (Adolf Shitler Alfaro)
Esse (Necrobutcher Eriksson)
Johan (Rabies Risberg)

I cannot fathom how it happened that thirty years passed since I last heard this. But it did. And I’m stoked to finally blast this again! Timeless death-grind perfection, like crossing Assück with Incantation. Televiper
